Britain’s 100 leading employers are targeting more people from the universities of Manchester and Nottingham than either Oxford or Cambridge, according to a December 2013 report from High Fliers.
The findings would appear to confound wider university rankings, which consistently place Oxford and Cambridge in the top two positions.
Tammy Goldfield, from Manchester’s career service, added: ‘We are obviously very pleased our students are highly targeted by leading graduate recruiters and encouraged by the ongoing recovery of the graduate jobs market.’
