LinkedIn announced this week that it is to introduce University Pages to guide students in choosing the right university and career.

The pages will be a useful tool for prospective students when deciding where to study, whether that be undergraduate or further study, as you can explore universities worldwide.

The pre-university cohort will also be able to find out about campus news and see what alumni have gone on to do, and the diverse professional paths they have taken. Consequently, LinkedIn has reduced its minimum age to register from 18 to 13 to make it accessible to students still at school.

In addition to this, the pages are aimed at current students and alumni as they provide the opportunity to connect with classmates, past and present, to build your professional network and expand your opportunities.
