BPP University College of Professional Studies is the second for-profit higher education institution to have gained the title of university.
Now known as BPP University, the institution has been deemed to fulfil the necessary criteria – including producing its own degrees and attracting a large enough student body – to earn its new standing.
BPP University is the second such college to meet these requirements, after the University of Law (formerly the College of Law) was granted the title in 2012.
BPP University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, law, finance and tax accountancy, with tuition fees currently set at around £5,000 per year.
