Multiple graduate employers, including PwC and Ernst & Young, have been recognised at the Opportunity Now Awards for their commitment to gender diversity in the workplace.
PwC won the ‘advancing women in the workplace’ award for its female partner sponsorship programme, while Ernst & Young was similarly recognised for its continued commitment to developing female talent.
Both of these Big Four graduate employers were also situated in the ‘Top 50 Employers for Women’, published today by The Times.
Liz Bingham, Ernst & Young’s managing partner for people in the UK and Ireland said: ‘Diversity is a business imperative. As well as being the right thing to do, we believe that by attracting and retaining the best talent and developing our people, we will ultimately deliver a better service to our clients.’
